About The Event
The Toronto Elegant Lions Club (TELC) and the organizing committees extend a formal invitation for your participation as an event sponsor at the Elegant Crystal Ball 2024 Fundraising Charity Gala. This gala commemorates our 31st Anniversary and serves as our Inauguration Ceremony. It will be hosted at the Hilton Toronto/Markham Suites Conference Centre & Spa on Saturday, October 5th, 2024.
The Lions' motto, 'We Serve,' has inspired us to demonstrate the commitment by giving our time and effort to make our communities better. The year, our beneficiary will be Hill House Hospice. For over a quarter century, Hill House Hospice has been serving Richmond Hill and the York Region Community. Hill House’s mission is to provide palliative care to individuals diagnosed with a terminal illness in a home-like setting, to provide grief and bereavement support for their families and friends, and to ensure that each patient is treated with dignity, respect and the highest standard of care.
Hill House Hospice is aiming to build a new hospice in Richmond Hill in response to our community’s urgent need for expanded hospice capacity and compassionate approaches to end-of-life care. To support the expansion plans, Hill House continues to partner with Mackenzie Health Hospital and Hope House Community Hospice for greater integration of care services for people at various stages along the palliative care pathway. Hill House Hospice is looking to the community to help raise the $13 Million required for the new build over the next 3-4 years. The new home for Hill House will enable us to support more palliative patients across a wide span of ages and from various ethnocultural backgrounds, who are facing a serious illness.
